Indians earn 4-0 victory over USC Lancaster to start the season (NJCAA Women's Soccer)

The USC Salkehatchie women faced USC Lancaster this afternoon in Allendale, South Carolina to start their season.  The Indians came out with a flurry of quick passes before striking early on a goal by freshman Jerica Washington.

It wouldn't take long before the Indians would add their second goal, freshman Katie Heywood from Australia scored from about 18-yeards out to give the Indians a 2-0 lead.

The Indians would lead at the half 2-0.

In the second half, Jerica Washington added her second goal of the match and freshman Balbina Ramos scored late.
The Indians would earn a 4-0 victory over USC Lancaster.
The Indians are now 1-0 on the season and 1-0 in Region X play.
They will face Georgia Military on Saturday at home, the match is set to begin at 1:00 pm.
