The USC Salkehatchie Indians women's soccer team are off to the fastest start in their programs history after defeating the USC Beaufort (JV) Sand Sharks for the second Friday in a row.
The Indians started slow and trailed 2-0 last into the second half and after a 30-minute delay for lighting when they needed a goal in the worse way, they got three.
Scoring for the Indians were Kassie Contreras, Kimberly Giror and Elle Shelton.
The Indians improved to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in Region X play.
They will be back in action on Tuesday September 11th against Region X foe USC Lancaster, the match is set to begin at 3:00 pm.
