The USC Salkehatchie Lady Indians softball team traveled to Locust, North Carolina today to face Stanly Community College a non-region foe.In game 1, the Lady Indians handled Stanly easily as they cruised at 7-2 victory. Sophomore Leigha Hite earned the win for the Lady Indians.
In game two, the Indians would succumb to an array of errors according to USC Salkehatchie head coach Tatjana Slawson in the effort to sweep Stanly CC. The Lady Indians fell by a final of 5-4. Sophomore Samantha Martin took the loss.
The Lady Indians are now 4-6 on the season and 1-3 in Region X.
They will be back in action March 26th against Pitt Community College in Whiteville, North Carolina.
