The University of South Carolina Salkehatchie Indians had four former players in this year's Diamond Prospects Pre-Draft showcase. Oliver Santos and Branfy Arias played for USC Salkehatchie this past season, with Santos hitting over.450 and ranked among the top players in the NJCAA this past season for his batting average.

Arias, stayed in the top 50 all season long in the stolen bases catagory for the entire NJCAA.
Two former Indians and current USC Aiken players, Gary Owens and Travis Howard also attended the showcase.

Howard, broke the USC Aiken all-time record and Peach Belt conference record for RBI's in a season. He also lead the NCAA division II in RBI's with a final total of 103 (2-shy of tying the national all-time record. He will be a rising senior at USC Aiken, depending on the outcome of the draft.

All the players can do now is sit back and wait for this year's MLB draft to be held June 9th and 10th, it is then when they will find out their fate. All the former USC Salkehatchie players have at least one year left of college eligibility.
