The USC Salkehatchie Indians softball team was looking for two more Region X wins today in North Carolina but they will come home empty handed.
The Indians lead 3-2 headed into the bottom of the 7th when Surry Community College came back to score two runs and earn the sweep.
Freshman Samantha Martin takes the loss and is now 6-10.
The Indians go into Easter weekend with a 14-21 overall record and slip to 6-5 in Region X.
