The USC Salkehatchie Indians got great pitching out of mid-week starters sophomore Dustin Panell and sophomore Griffin Spires today to sweep Anderson University (JV).
In game 2, sophomore Caleb Brazell hit his third home run in the two games to give USC Salkehatchie the lead.
The Indians were up 5-0 but Anderson University scored two late runs to pull within 3.
In the end USC Salkehatchie won 5-2.
USC Salkehatchie is now 12-24-1 overall and 6-11-1 in Region X.
They will travel to Louisburg College for a weekend Region X series begining on Saturday. For driving directions scroll down the blog if you plan on attending.
