Indians fall 80-73 to Allegany College of Maryland~

CUMBERLAND — Casey Roberts led all scorers with 25 points in an 80-73 win for Allegany College of Marlyand over USC-Salkehatchie in the first round of the Allegany College of Maryland Christmas Classic Friday night.

Allegany was stagnant offensively in the first half, scoring just 29 points and trailing by four.The Trojans exploded for 51 second-half points and pulled away to clinch a seven-point victory.Ricky Mosley added 13 points for Allegany, Darrion Tillman and Darnell Turner each had 11 points and 10 rebounds, Cam Johnson recorded eight points and seven rebounds.

Jimmy Givens led Salkehatchie with 21 points. Hagerstown (11-1) defeated Westchester 84-82 and will play Salkehatchie in the first game today of the Christmas Classic at 2 p.m. Allegany will play Westchester at 4 p.m.
