Former USC Salkehatchie Indian basketball standout named LSC Newcomer of the Year

Former USC Salkehatchie standout Donald Simms was named the Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year as a member of the West Texas A&M Buffs. Sims was also named to theLone Star Conference second team for his efforts on the hardwood.
The Buffs kick off the tournament at 12 p.m. tomorrow against the Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico at the Allen Event Center.
USC Salkehatchie head coach Travis Garrett said, "That is a big award and I am happy for Donald. I knew he had it in him to play hard and excell at the next level, I hope the guys still here will look at him and see hard work pays off."

USC Salkehatchie basketball wins 92-80 over Denmark Tech

The USC Salkehatchie Indians basketball team defeated Denmark Technical College in Denmark, SC tonight 92-80.

Tonight's game was the final regular season game of the season for the Indians and they must now wait to see where the will be seeded for the Region X tournament.

The seedings for the Region X tournament in Spartanburg, SC will come out Saturday and once the become available we will post here on the blog.

USC Salkehatchie baseball splits with Anderson University JV

The USC Salkehatchie Indians split with Anderson University JV on Monday. In game one they fell in extra innings 10-9.
In the second game according to USC Salkehatchie head coach Bubba Dorman the bats came alive and the Indians prevailed 12-3.
The Indians are 3-16 on the season.

USC Salkehatchie swept by Spartanburg Methodist College

The Indians were swept on Thursday by SMC 15-1 and 9-5.
The Indians are 2-15 on the season, SMC improves to 9-1.

USC Salkehatchie softball HOME this weekend as they begin Region play.

The USC Salkehatchie Indians softball team will be home this weekend in Allendale, South Carolina as they face Region X foe, USC Lancaster.
Come out and support the Indians!!
