Indians baseball get two wins in final home games of season!

The USC Salkehatchie Indians were looking to extend their two game winning streak on Monday afternoon against Anderson University JV. The Indians beat Region X foe in their final two games of a four game series this past weekend. In game one, the Indians jumped out to an early 5-0 lead but Anderson would claw their way back in the game, making it 5-4 in the fifth inning. The Indians would hold on to earn a 7-5 victory. Sophomore Kalin Smith would earn the victory in his final home start as an Indian.

In game two, the Indians got one in the first and would never look back as they earned a 3-1 victory over Anderson University JV. Freshman D.J. Johnson earned the complete game victory.

The Indians now 12-32 will face Louisburg College this weekend in an important Region X match-up in Louisburg, North Carolina.
