Indian women fall to Patrick Henry 1-0

 

The USC Salkehatchie women's socer team fell 1-0 to Patrick Henry Community College today in Allendale, SC.

The Indians season is now over, Patrick Henry advances to the Region X tournament in Lancaster, SC this weekend.

USC Salkehatchie Women's soccer to face Patrick Henry in Region X play-in match~

Don't forget the USC Salkehatchie women will face Patrick Henry on Tuesday October 29th in Allendale, SC at 4:00 pm. The match will be a play-in game to determine which team will advance to the Region X tournament to be held at USC Lancaster. We will have "LIVE" updates via Twitter throughout the match and will post the final and photo's here on the blog after the match.

Indian men to face Wake Tech Wednesday

Salk men finished season tied for 4th in Region X. They will play a play-in game against Wake Tech at Cape Fear on October 30 at 3:00

2013-14 USC Salkehatchie Men's Basketball Team

The USC Salkehatchie Indians basketball season is right around the corner! After last year's first ever trip to the National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas the Indians are poised and excited to make a return trip in 2014.

Coach Garrett said, "We are small and fast, I know this team will be a special group. I have coached teams in the past that had the best talent but they didn't come together as a unit. I am excited about how this team works together, works hard in the gym. This may be one of my most focused groups ever, I hope everyone will come out and support us this year."

The Indians will kick-off the regular season on November 1st against Atlanta Metro on the road. The Indians will open at home on November 5th against Orangeburg Prep at 7:30 pm. To access the Indians complete schedule go to www.uscsalkathletics.com

Salk Alumni-Elijah Ukpong Drive Continues

Men’s Soccer dominates St. Catharine 10-0
Tue, Oct 01, 2013 – [Men's Soccer]

COLUMBIA, Ky. — Elijah Ukpong scored four goals and Xavier Baumgart scored twice as the No. 1-ranked Lindsey Wilson College men’s soccer team defeated St. Catharine (Ky.) 10-0 at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
The 10 goals are a season high for the Blue Raiders who improve to 7-1-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the Mid-South Conference. St. Catharine falls to 2-8 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Ukpong opened the scoring for Lindsey Wilson in the 8th minute off an assist from Aleksi Pahkasalo for the 1-0 lead. He netted an unassisted goal in the 13th minute to push the lead to 2-0. Ukpong scored again for the hat trick in the 23rd minute on another unassisted goal to make it 3-0.  His night was not done as he scored another unassisted goal in the 57th minute for his fourth on the night.
Baumgart netted his first goal of the night in the 28th minute with an assist from Ukpong. In the 41st minute, Baumgart added his second goal of the night on an assist from Yazeed Davids.
Pahkasalo scored in the 43rd minute off an assist from Bastien Montagnon to push the lead to 6-0.
