Salk Baseball Player to Play D1 Next Year

Shuler Ward,  a graduating sophomore from USC Salkehatchie has committed to play baseball at the College of Charleston for 2014-15.  Ward is a pitcher and outfielder for the Indians and was named to the NJCAA Region X Second Team All-Region this past weekend.   

Pictured on either side of Shuler are USC Salkehatchie Head Coach Bubba Dorman on the left and USC Salkehatchie Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach Ryan West on the right.  Shuler was also named USC Salkehatchie Male Athlete of the Year for 2013-14, graduated May 2 with high honors and has been named to the Dean’s List every semester at USC Salkehatchie.
