Indians win at home against Orangeburg Calhoun Prep 105, 82 to start the season 2-0

The USC Salkehatchie Indians came out strong taking an early 9-2 lead in the first half. The Gladiators would take the lead 11-10 with 10:50 left in the half, their only lead of the game.

The Indians would continue to pull away in the first half, leading 55-35 at the half.

"We came out and executed our game plan tonight, we had a plan and it worked. I was pleased with the way we played in the first half, we made a few mental mistakes but those are correctable," said USC Salkehatchie head coach Travis Garrett.

In the second half, the Indians extended their lead, never trailing in the half. The Indians would score another 60-points in the half to earn the victory 105-82.

The Indians are now 2-0 on the season, they will be back in action on November 9th against Waycross College in Americus, Georgia.
