WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Lynn University men’s basketball team defeated Palm Beach Atlantic 86-76 on Wednesday night in the Rubin Arena . The Fighting Knights move to 5-1 overall while Sailfish stand at 1-6 this season. Kaleb Clyburn led the Blue & White with 19 points while Fred Landers and Aaron Harrison each recorded 17 points and eight rebounds.
Palm Beach Atlantic opened the game with a three-point shot but Lynn took its first lead when Landers made a layup to lead 4-3. Clyburn was on fire from behind the arc in the first half, making 3-of-4 shots from downtown. The lead changed eight times before the two teams headed into the locker rooms with the score knotted at 38-all.
Clyburn and Josh Soto had 10 points apiece leading all scorers. Landers lead the Fighting Knights with six rebounds helping Lynn out-rebound PBA 22-18. The Fighting Knights shot 42.3 percent from the field to open the game and an impressive 53.3 percent from behind the arc.

Lynn continued to pressure, taking a lead early in the second half. The Fighting Knights held an eight point lead at 72-64 with three minutes remaining in. The Sailfish closed the gap to five with just under three minutes remaining but Lynn held on for its fifth win of the season.
Harrison had 15 points in the second half and Landers had 12 points and two rebounds helping the Blue & White to a 51.9 shooting percentage from behind the arc. Pavle Raickovic pulled down six rebounds in the final frame for a team-high nine rebounds in the victory.
Clyburn, Soto and Stampley joined Harrison and Landers in double-digit scoring while Cory Thomas had a game-high four blocks. The Sailfish were led offensively by Evin Graham who had 19 points and 12 rebounds.
