Indians fall to 10-5 after dropping two in Florida

USC Salkehatchie head coach Travis Garrett knew these last two games were going to be a tall task, "We have been on the road since November 9th for a total of 10-games. I know it has been tough on the guys but overall I am excited we will get back home on January 6th. The guys have really given a 100 percent on this extended road trip and even with every loss, we have gotten better as a team. I am not making excuses for the loses but I want people to know this team is special and fans will see for themselves once we get back home"

The Indians faced perennial powerhouse Gulf Coast on Sunday and fell short by a final of 79-64. Coach Garrett said the team come out flat the first half and we unable to come back after trailing early.

Today the Indians faced the #4 team in the nation, Chipola and again came up short 91-83.

"I was pleased with the way we played today, we had some very bright moments that should give us a boast going into Region X play, this team has the makings to be very special if we will continue to work hard toward our goal."

The Indians now 10-5 on the season will face Middle Georgia State on Monday night January 6th at 7:00 pm.

Let's all come out and welcome the Indians home after a long road trip!!!

Go Indians!!!
