Sit down with USC Salkehatchie men's and women's soccer teams head coach Bill Glass~

Coach Glass you started practice this week, what have you seen so far out of your new players?

The new players have impressed me with their energy and enthusiasm. They seem to be bonding as a group
and building some good team chemistry.

You have several weeks until the start of the preseason, what will you do to ensure the players are ready?

I tell the players that we are working on 3 things, 1. Fitness, 2. Ball touch, 3. Tactics by working hard on these three things
I am confident we will be ready for prime time.

Do you expect the heat to be a factor?

The heat is always a factor at the start of the season and this year it seems to be more so. The key is for the players to
Drink lots of water, eat healthy and know the symptoms of heat exhaustion and understand that they are to notify me immediately if they are feeling any of those symptoms.

What can the USC Salkehatchie men's and women's soccer fans expect this season?

I think the fans can expect us to pick up where we left off last year meaning that we will field teams that they can be proud to support.

The Indians will travel to Brewton Parker on August 14th for a scrimmage (men and women teams)
