The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team left out for Decatur, Georgia this morning in preparation for this weekend's GPC Thanksgiving Classic.
The Indians are looking for their first win on the season but head coach Travis Garrett is still optimistic, "I am not really worried about our record, we just need to continue to get better as a team and understand that hard work pays off."
Coach Garrett went on to say that he thought his team was in a great position to make a run once region play starts, "We started slow last year but it how I schedule teams. I have stated before, it would be easy to schedule teams we could run up and down the court but I want to play teams that will make us better."
The Indians tip-off tonight at 8:00 pm and they will take the court again tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
