USC Salkehatchie softball 100-Inning game held Saturday November 1st, 2008

The USC Salkehatchie softball team held their annual 100-inning fundraiser game on Saturday and it was deemed a success by head coach Mitch Smith," I was thrilled with the way we played today, the girls gave their all and it was great. It was one of the nicest days we have had all year, the fans were here, it was just a great day."
The day was beautiful and all the fans in attendance seemed to enjoy watching the lady Indians on the field. During the 100-inning game, fans were treated to a chicken bog that was prepared by Mrs. Marian Esterlin. A silent auction was held and in the end, fans and players mingled and discussed the upcoming spring schedule.

The lady Indians are now done with the fall schedule, they will start back up in preparation for their spring schedule in January. To find out more about USC Salkehatchie softball or any of the sports offered at USC Salkehatchie, go to www.uscsalkathletics.com
