Convocation and water games by student government

The University of South Carolina had it's annual Academic Convocation ceremonies t
oday in the atrium with guest speaker The Honorable Miles Loadholt, chairman USC Board of Trustees. Mr. Loadholt welcomed the new students to the University of South Carolina system, telling them they are now a proud part of the Gamecock family.He reminded the students to study hard and even spoke to student-athletes, telling them to remember that grades come first. Students in attendance then went to the Library building were lunch was served. After lunch student government set up water slides and a dunking booth for all to enjoy. It is another year here at USC Salkehatchie and we are looking for great things from our student body.
