Tri County Tech 7, Indians 0 ~ Recap

On Wednesday the USC Salkehatchie Men’s Soccer Team traveled to Pendleton, SC to play a Region X match with the Tri-County Technical College Hawks. Under first year head coach, Bill Glass things have been looking up for the Indians.

In a Region X game, the first of the season, the Indians had hope hopes prior to making the journey.
Throughout the game, the Indians forced the Hawks goalkeeper to make eight saves but failed to find the back of the net despite having all those shots on goal along with three corner kick opportunities.
It would be Tri-County that would find success. Against the Indian’s defense they were able to score 7 goals. “We played well, but they played better,” said Bill Glass, Salkehatchie Head Soccer Coach.
The team will travel to Douglas, Georgia this weekend for two matches. On Saturday the Indians will face Darton College on the South Georgia College campus soccer field in Douglas, GA at 1 PM. On Sunday they will play SGC at 1 PM then take the rest of Labor Day weekend off. As soon as I find out more information on these games, I will pass it along to our fans.
