Lady Indians soccer team wins first game of season

You had to know it was only a matter of time before the Lady Indians soccer team got their first victory on the young season. On Saturday afternoon the Lady Indians traveled to Sumter, South Carolina to take on rival USC Sumter. The Lady Indians would score twice, first it was sophomore Lisa Routt scoring on a penality kick and then Freshman Shannon Shaffer would find the goal late in the second half.
The Lady Indians are now 1-2 on the season and they will be back in action on this Wednesday (16-Sept.) against Abraham Baldwin Ag College in Tifton, GA at 4:00 PM.
