USCA baseball adds 21 to roster for the 2010 season

The 2010 USC Aiken signing class was announced Wednesday.


Transfers*

Dustin Douglas joins the Pacer baseball program out of CCBC Catonsville.

* A junior right-handed pitcher out of USC Salkehatchie, Mark Henderson is someone that "should get in the mound mix quickly" according to head coach Kenny Thomas.

* Zach Kilday is an all-around outfielder that played his first two years at South Georgia College.

* Grimes Medlin comes to Aiken as a senior left-handed pitcher. Medlin pitched in 6.2 innings for the USC Gamecocks last year.

* Steve Owens, a senior from Sykesville, Md., was 3-2 last year for the University of Richmond.

* James Rawls, the other former Gamecock, is a right-handed pitcher, who can also play first base and hit.

* Bill Rice makes his way to USCA after one year at Gloucester Community College in Sewell, N.J.
* Tracey Asbill (USC Salkehatchie) is the cousin of USC Aiken catcher Gary Asbill and along with Corey Warner will try and walk on to the Pacer baseball program.

Henderson and Asbill will be joining Travis Howard and Gary Owens both graduates of USC Salkehatchie.
