2-USC Salkehatchie Indians basetball players sign with Southern Polytechnic University.

USC Salkehatchie sophomore basketball players Roy Hampton and
Deandre Blackmon

have signed to play with Southern Polytechnic University located in Marietta, Georgia.

Sophomore Roy Hampton only played in 14-games in 2009 but averaged 5 points per game.
Sophomore Deandre Blackmon played in 30-games last season averaging 6 points per game but his best asset is rebounding off the boards.

Coach Travis Garrett said, " I am proud of Roy and Deandre both, they have worked hard to get where they are at. Deandre worked extra hard this season and teams took notice, he had several teams looking at him. Roy will work hard for the Running Hornets and I look for good things from him. It will be hard to replace their work ethic and I wish both players the very best."
Coach Garrett added that our saying at USC Salkehatchie rings true, Start Here, Go Anywhere.
Former USC Salkehatchie baseball player, Gary Owens is currently a senior at Southern Polytechnical University.
