The USC Salkehatchie Indians softball team mounted a comeback in the 7th as they trailed 5-3.They would eventually fall when USC Sumter got one run in the bottom of the 8th.
Leigha Hite takes the loss for USC Salkehatchie.
The Indians are now 14-22 and 6-6 in Region X play.
Game 2 is currently underway, once the scores are reported I will post here on the blog.
