USC Salkehatchie softball swept by USC Sumter after losing game 2




The USC Salkehatchie Indians had their chances all day against USC Sumter according to USC Salkehatchie head coach Mitch Smith, "We made errors, errors and more errors all day. You can't win games when you make so many mistakes."



The Lady Indians had their chances when freshman Leigh Hite (Gilbert, SC) hit a 3-run home run. They had one last chance in the bottom of the 7th when they scored 2 runs to pull within 1.


With bases loaded the Indians struck out to end the game.
The final was USC Sumter 6, USC Salkehatchie 5.
The losing pitcher for USC Salkehatchie was Samantha Martin.
The Indians are now 14-23 overall and 6-7 in Region X.
