Hilton Head Christian AcademyHilton Head Christian Academy's SCISAA Class 3-A baseball state title game against Northwood Academy will be played at 6 p.m. Thursday on the USC Salkehatchie field in Allendale.
The teams have split the first two games of the three-game series, so Thursday's game will decide the SCISAA Class 3-A state champion. Hilton Head Christian won Game 1 at Northwood 5-4 in eight innings, but Northwood bounced back to win 6-4 on Tuesday at Hilton Head Christian.
USC Salkehatchie head coach Bubba Dorman and athletic director Mrs. Jane Brewer both agreed it would be a great opportunity to showcase the USC Salkehatchie campus and baseball field.
