Former USC Salkehatchie Indians baseball player Gary Owens currently with the Haysville Heat (Jayhawk baseball league-Kansas) won their Midwest Regional which qualifies them to compete in the NBC World Series.
Owens received all tournament team honors and tournament MVP.
