The Columbia Blowfish set two records in their 5-4 come-from-behind victory over the Florence RedWolves on Wednesday. Columbia set the single-season stolen base record when Nick Orvin stole second in the first inning. It was Columbia’s 145th stolen base of the year, which breaks the mark, set by Peninsula last year. Columbia’s... Branfy Arias also stole his 59th base of his career, breaking the Costal Plains League record held by Peninsula’s Eddie Van Es. Arias, is a 2009 graduate of USC Salkehatchie and currently plays at Tusculum University.
