The USC Salkehatchie men's soccer team defeated Cape Fear CC today 4-2. Today's win marks the first time in school history the Indians have defeated the Sea Devils.
Elijah Ukpong scored the first 2 goals for the Indians
Jason King was the man of the hour by scoring 2 goals late to secure the victory.
"It was great, the kids worked hard, listened well and worked as a team. It is great to see how this group of young men are coming together," said head coach Bill Glass.
The Indians are now 4-1-1 on the season and 3-1 in Region X play.
They will be back in action this Saturday September 17th against Wake Tech, the game is scheduled for 3:00 pm and it is HOME.
