USC Salkehatchie women fall 4-0 to Cape Fear CC



The USC Salkehatchie women's soccer team, battled hard against Cape Fear CC today in Allendale, SC but came up on the losing end 4-0.


"We have been battling a virus the past week and it has been tough on the girls. We have several players out with injuries and that hasn't helped but I am extremely proud of the team for fighting through it all," said USC Salkehatchie head coach Bill Glass.


The Indians trailed 1-0 at the half. In the second half Cape Fear CC went on to score 3 more goals with the last coming with 30 seconds in the match.


The Lady Indians now fall to 1-2 on the season and 1-2 in Region X play.


They will be back in action on Saturday September 14th at 1:00 pm against Middle Georgia.
