The USC Salkehatchie baseball players tried to put their best foot forward this past week, in hopes of impressing the professional baseball scouts on hand.
Over 15 MLB scouts came out in hopes of finding the next diamond in the rough. USC Salkehatchie players took batting practice for the scouts and then it was the USC Salkehatchie pitchers turn to shine.
I was very impressed with our players as they seemed to all shine at the right time. It was great to see our guys from such a small university excel when it mattered most. I know that both Coach Dorman and Coach Wicker were impressed with the way they handled themselves.
