The USC Salkehatchie Indians lady soccer team could never get in the groove today against USC Sumter. USC Sumter scored early in the match and never looked back as they cruised to a 3-0 victory.
The USC Salkehatchie men's soccer team found themselves down to USC Sumter 1-0 at the break but they came out the break with a renewed fire. After the break, USC Salkehatchie found the goal to tie the game. The match ended in a 1-1 tie and after two five minute overtime periods the match ended in a tie. It was an exciting match for both fans and players from both schools. If you don't know much about the rivarly between the two schools, it has become fierce the past few years.
The Indians (Men and Women) will be back in action on October 14th against North Greenville, the ladies match is scheduled to start at 2pm and the men at 4pm, in Allendale.
