USC Salkehatchie men's basketball set to tip-off new season TONIGHT at Coastal Georgia

The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball will team kick off their 2010-2011 campaign on the road tonight against The College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Georgia.
The Indians will look to sophomore's Darnell Jackson and Danny James for leadership.

"We have to become a more balanced team this season. Last year we weren't able to get rebounds, get back on transition defense and score on offense. This year, I think we have the players to accomplish our goals but the have to be focused and share the ball on offense."
Coach Garrett says the game tonight will be a challenge for the Indians, "They have a new gym floor, new uniforms and logo's. I am sure a big crowd will show up and we have to be ready to play. You know the crowd will be into the game and that is what I want for us at USC Salkehatchie, it is great having a home-court advantage," said Garrett.
After tonight, the Indians will be back in action this weekend for the ATC Tip-Off Classic against Gulf Coast on Friday at 5:30 pm and again on Saturday against Central Florida at 2:00 pm.
Once I get the results from the game tonight, I will post a short recap here on the blog.
