Denmark Technical College opened up the 2010 USC Salkehatchie Quizno's Holiday Classic this afternoon against North Charleston Prep. In the second half, Denmark Technical College lead by as many as 15-points but North Charleston fought back to take the lead with 2:09 left in the game. Denmark Tech would retake the lead with 2:00 left and retain it for the remainder of the game. North Charleston had one last shot to tie the game but missed a 3-pointer before throwing up a wild shot as time expired. Winning coach Rob Proctor said, "We didn't come out and execute well on defense. We were resilient and fought throughout the game against a tough team. North Charleston played hard and were real aggressive." When asked what he expected once Region X play starts, he said "We are going to go undefeated, end of story."
