It took the Indians 11-games to final wake up and smell the coffee but after last night's win on Johnston CC, the Indians lit up the scoreboard against Wythville scoring 100 for the first time to two seasons.
"We played like I was looking for us to play from the start, we came out last night and tonight and played hard from the tip-off. If we can build on this, I hope good things will come to the team. We cut down our turnovers and played as a unit," said USC Salkehatchie head coach Travis Garrett.
The Indians never trailed in the contest and took a 44-37 lead in the half. In the second half, the Indian lead by as much as 20 points.
The final was USC Salkehatchie 100, Wytheville 81.
