Lady Indians find it tough going against Louisburg College in Louisburg, NC

The USC Salkehatchie Indians softball team looked to improve on their 5-1 Region X record as they face Louisburg College in Louisburg, NC but it wasn't to be.

In game 1 the Indians were unable to get any offense going to help their starting pitcher freshman Leigh Hite. They would go on to drop game 1, 5-0.

In game 2, the Indians offense got it going in the top of the 7th and would take a 3 run lead by scoring 5-runs in the inning.

However, it would be a 3-run shot by Louiburg that would give them a 10-9 victory over the Indians.

Freshman Samantha Morris picked up the loss for the Indians.

The Indians are now 11-16 and 5-3 in Region X.
