USC Salkehatchie found themselves down 2-1 headed to the top of the 5th and that is when the wheels fell off. The Indians gave up 8-runs in the top of the inning and was unable to answer in the bottom half of the inning.The game was called after 5-innings due to the 8-run rule.
The Indians will host South Georgia tomorrow in Allendale, South Carolina with game times at 1:00 and 3:00 pm.
Freshman Samatha Martin (Charleston, South Carolina) took the loss for the Indians, she is 5-8 on the season.
