The USC Salkehatchie Indians held on to win game 4 of the weekend series against Guilford Technical College 4-3.
Sophomore Ryan Rowe (Newberry, SC) picked up the win on the mound by throwing a complete game. He gave up two walks and picked up six strike outs.
Freshman Jeremiah Jackson (Elgin, SC) picked up his first collegiate home run and freshman Joc Brunson (Columbia, SC) added his third home run of the season.
The weekend series was split 2-2.
The Indians are now 6-11-1 on the season and 4-3-1 in Region X play.
They will be back in action this Thursday March 18th in Gaffney, SC against the Limestone College JV. at 2:00 pm.
