Games still a go for the weekend!! Lady Indians and Indians baseball


As you know the weather has been a huge topic of discussion on the blog the past several days. It has been a huge story on the local and national news as it makes it's way through the deep South.
The Indians baseball team is set to travel to Lancaster, South Carolina to take on USC Lancaster this Saturday morning for a 4-game series. They will play double-headers on both Saturday and Sunday. I have again updated the weather forecast for Lancaster, South Carolina from the National Weather Service below:

INDIANS BASEBALL WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST:


SATURDAY:


A chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning...then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming south in the afternoon. Gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.


SUNDAY:


Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the morning...then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Breezy with highs in the upper 60s. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.


Lady Indians Softball WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST:


SATURDAY:


Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning...then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Warmer with highs around 80. South winds 5 to 10 mph... increasing to around 15 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent.

SUNDAY:

Partly cloudy. A chance of showers in the morning. Highs in the lower 70s. Less humid. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
