According to our athletic director, Mrs. Jane Brewer at the game today, the Indians have defeated USC Lancaster in game 1 by a final score of 8-4.

Again it was the Indians power that propelled them to victory,(SS) Cameron Louis (Conway, SC) who was named as one of the top returning players for the eastern districts by the NJCAA, hit two home-runs in today's game 1. He hit one early in the game and another in the top of the 7th. Also in the 7th inning, (C) Eddie Barkley (Sumter, SC) hit a solo-shot. Also taking it deep for the Indians, (3B) Oliver Santos (Santo Domingo, D. R.) and (OF) Tripp Strickland (Fairmont, NC). In the game, the Indians would hit a total of 5-Home Runs.
Pitcher Mark Henderson (North Charleston, SC) got the win for the Indians, he is now 3-3 on the season. Ryan Rowe (Newberry,SC) earned his 2nd save of the season.

On the season the Indians have now hit a total of 23 Home-Runs.
