Indians swept by USC Sumter in Sumter, SC



The USC Salkehatchie Indians went into their weekend series looking to come out with at least a split with the leading team in Region X, USC Sumter.

In the end the Indians would find themselves swept by the Fire Ants in 4-games. It would be a tough day on Saturday but on Sunday the Indians fought hard against the top ranked (Region X) Fire Ants.

In game three of the series, the final score was USC Salkehatchie 6, USC Sumter 9.

Sophomore, Mark Henderson took the loss for the Indians.

In game four on Sunday, the Indians would once again fall by a final score of 6-3.
The Indians now fall to 23-25 on the season and 13-15 in Region X.


The USC Sumter Fire Ants lead Region X with an overall 40-7 record and 22-4 in Region X.
