Attention USC Salkehatchie Lady Indians Softball Fans!!!

The USC Salkehatchie Lady Indians Softball game that was scheduled for this Friday against Columbia College, in Columbia, South Carolina has been cancelled. The Columbia College Koalas were unable to field enough players to have the game due to injuries and sickness.

The Lady Indians instead will be traveling to Lexington, South Carolina to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness with the Red Hotts. The Red Hotts are a little league softball program for 8 and 9 year old girls. They have decided that they want to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness and they have asked the USC Salkehatchie Lady Indians to team up with them to help in the fight.

The Lady Indians will be on hand to promote this and give the Red Hotts a small mini-camp in to help them hone in their skills. It will be a day of fun as the Lady Indians sign autographs, meet the young ladies and teach them about the importance of becoming not only a good athlete but a good student athlete.

Once the event takes place, we will send the story and information to the NJCAA official website and they have promised to promote the event for all to learn more about Breast Cancer Awareness.

I will post pictures of the event on the blog and also the official USC Salkehatchie athletic website http://www.uscsalkathletics.com/ once the event is completed.
