Indians baseball powers it way past Anderson University JV in game 1. Game 2 won in extra innings!!



The USC Salkehatchie Indians baseball team came out in a cold windy day in Anderson, South Carolina with bats blazing to earn a victory in game 1 by a final score of USC Salkehatchie 7, Anderson University 5. LHP Thomas Nichols who came into today's game with a 27.068 ERA, pitched strong for the Indians for 5-innings and Branfi Arias came in to earn his first save of the season.


In game two the Indians bats were again alive early in the contest when they jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Anderson battled back to take the game into extra innings but in the end the Indians prevailed by a final score of 9-8.

The Indians record on the season now stands at 3-5.
