At the half-time of the USC Salkehatchie-Spartanburg Methodist basketball game tonight, fans were giving the chance to win an autographed basketball and t-shirt is they were able to hit a half-court shot. Only one person out of 30+ participants were able to make the shot.
Pernell Dollard of Hemingway, South Carolina and the brother of USC Salkehatchie basketball player, Bryant Julious was able to complete the feat and earn a signed basketball and t-shirt.
Dollard said," It was mostly luck. I have done it before in school just playing around but it was great to hit the shot tonight and win a basketball since this is my brother's last home game as a USC Salkehatchie Indian."
