Middle Georgia has Lady Indians number in final game of Ringor Invitational in Aiken, South Carolina

The USC Salkehatchie Lady Indians must feel as though they have played Middle Georgia enough for one season after today's loss in their final game of the Ringor Invitational in Aiken, South Carolina.


The Lady Indians have faced Middle Georgia three times this season and all three games have ended with the same result, the Lady Indians coming up on the losing end.


Today on a windy and cold morning, the Lady Indians were unable to slow down the offense of Middle Georgia as they lost by a final of 9-1.


In the Ringor Invitation tournament, the Lady Indians played 5-games but they were only able to come away with 1-win which came against Patrick Henry. The Lady Indians over-all record in the tournament was 1-4.


The Lady Indians will have to regroup in a hurry as they travel to Columbia, South Carolina to take on Benedict College(http://www.benedict.edu/exec_admin/athletics/softball/bc-softball.html) on Wednesday (February 24th) for a double-header. The first game is scheduled for 2 pm and the second around 4 pm.


After the journey to Columbia to take on Benedict College on Wednesday the 24th, they will turn right back around and head to Columbia, South Carolina for the second time in the week to take on the Fighting Koalas of Columbia College(http://www.gokoalas.com/sports/sball/index) in a double-header scrimmage. The first game of the double-header is scheduled for 3 pm and the second for 5 pm.


After this weekend's Ringor Invitational Tournament, the Lady Indians overall record now stands at 7-10 and they remain 2-0 in Region X.
