Indians drop opening games against Middle Georgia~



The USC Salkehatchie men' baseball team finally got underway today in Cochran, Georgia against Middle Georgia College.
The Indians had their weekend series against Walters State cancelled due to the snow in our area and the game scheduled for Tuesday against Middle Georgia was cancelled due to the threat of inclement weather.
Today the Indians were unable to pull out a close game one and was unable to get any offense going in game two.
The Indians did have several bright spots at the plate as Robby Assemany hit a grand slam and Korey Ahrens hit a home run.
The Indians will be back in action on February 18th against Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina at 3:00 pm.
