Indians lose against Surry CC but win 2010 Lady Knights Mizuno Invitational~Bronze Bracket Champions~

The USC Salkehatchie Indians softball team lost on Sunday morning but were still able to secure the 2010 Bronze Bracket Championship at the Aiken Tech Mizuno Invitational in Aiken, South Carolina.

The Indians fell to Surry CC 5-3 with Leigha Hite taking the loss on the mound.
Sophomore Symone Nettles (Lamar, SC) hit a home-run in the loss, her second on the season.

The Indians will be back in action this Friday (Feb.26th) in a double-header against Middle Georgia, the games are scheduled to start at 1:00 and 3:00 pm.
