The USC Salkehatchie softball team defeated USC Sumter today twice to sweep their weekend series in Allendale, South Carolina. The Indians never trailed in game 1 and won by a final of 4-1 in game two, the Indians trailed 1-0 headed into the bottom of the third but were able to secure 6-runs in the inning with two outs. The Indians would end up winning in 6-inning by the 8-run-rule, 9-1.The Indians are now 7-9 on the season but stand with an impressive 4-0 record in Region X play.
